Welcome to Carinbundi

Carinbundi is the trading name of Burnett Respite Services Inc, a community based, not for profit organisation formed in 1994 to provide regular respite to people with a disability aged from birth to 65 years. This care is provided to offer relief from stress for carers and a break for people with disabilities.

Since its early days, this service has grown and now offers a range of programs from a number of locations, which you can check by using the links to the left of the page or below.

Here at Carinbundi, we develop new policy documents, as need and legislative requirements arise. We have recently developed draft Policy and Procedures  documents regulating the use of restrictive practices with adults with an intellectual or cognitive disability, as well as the use of locked doors, gates and windows. These documents and the practices they support will ensure this organisation is working within the parameters of the Disability Services Act 2006..
